I did not ask, or sign in, but have found a charge on my statement for £ 5-99. I will go through the performance of trying to get my money back.

I have just had the same problem. I called my banks fraud people and they suggested I call Netflix directly (tel: 08000 968879). I spoke to a very helpful man called Orlando and he immediately blocked the fake account that someone had set up with my bank details, and has arranged for a refund. Hope this helps.

The last two months I have been charged on my debit card for Netflix account that I don’t have. I made Netflix account today , 21/10/2017 , username maria.fato15. On my debit account say Netflix.com 866-716-0414 , can you please cancel that account and refund me please .

So there is no point chasing up netflix. Call your bank and cancel your card. Their insurance will cover any fraudulent transactions so you won't lose a dime. When you speak to them ask them to look up the merchant ID number of the fraudulent transaction and confirm if in fact this matches with the ACTUAL merchant ID of the company the criminals are imitating. If the numbers don't match then it's fraudulent. So for example netflix CA merchant ID would be different to the official netflix merchant ID. The banks have easy access to this information.
