I have got several $16.99 bills on my credit card account (usually twice a month). I just realized it after several months.
It doesn't benefit me in any shape of form and the sad part is I can't even get a refund. How can you just automatic enrol you. I would like to report this company!

I found two 16.99 charges on my credit card statement from TLG GREATFNfor the last two months. I believe I was signed up for this service when I had looked into a free trial with Traveler's Advantage, but was unaware that I was signed up for Great Fun as well. I called them and they tried to sell me on it some more, and eventually told me they couldn't refund the two months. I kept complaining and then they offered a refund for one month. I wasn't satisfied with that either, so I kept on being a bit of a hard ass. In the end, they told me I would get a full refund for the two months, and that the service had been cancelled. Hopefully I will see the refund in 7 days and I won't be charged again. If they do not comply, I will dispute the charges with my credit card company.

This company has apparently been charging me $16.99 FOR ALMOST 4 YEARS. Yeah I should have checked all my transactions, but goddamn these people are vultures. I signed up for a $1 free trial when taking a super shuttle, apparently, and then they decided to charge me for as long as they could. Got a cancellation confirmation number, this shit better not show up next month is all I am saying. I am out $800 fucking dollard!

My bank account has 2 December 11, 2018 charges for $16.99 charges. One was TLG*GREATFN6805 9789, the other was TLG*SHOPPER6805 9789. I have no idea what the charges are for, but sure plan to find out.

I just realized this company has been charging me $16.99 every month since April this year! This is a fake company on your bill, I did not sign up for anything to get this recurring payment showing in my debit card. I am trying to fix this with my bank and calling the number on the "bill" but no luck.

This company has been charging me $16.99 for TWO YEARS....I never noticed because they snuck in a reoccurring payment when I finishing Grad School and moving to another. I was literally racking up so many expenses that month I couldn't duplicate them if I tried! I called to get my money back. My bank said I have a 60 days fraudulent protection so they will guarantee only TWO MONTHS worth of charges. The rest is a toss up if I'll ever see that money again. I CAN'T STAND SCAMMERS. EARN YOUR OWN MONEY!!!!!!

Today, I found that $16.99 was being drafted since Feb 2018. I called my credit card company and they told me to first google the TLGShopper to see who they were and I found this site w/the many complaints. I then called TLG number on my statement and it was from some tickets I purchased that had a monthly fee to get promotional rates or something like that. The rep was a little difficult to understand her English. She did inform me that I began membership on 1/22/18 and cancelled on 1/23/18 but it appears that they have a merchant for which two accounts were created as there were two drafts of $1.00 in Jan. so regardless that I cancelled the membership, the second merchant they sent my info to stayed active and charged me each month. I did not authorize this. She wanted to only refund 4 months and I then requested to speak to her supervisor. He spoke English well and I informed him of this site of scams and complaints and explained that my statement clearly shows this was terminated but they w/o permission they sent a separate activation to their merchant which was not cancelled and continued to charge me $16.99 each month. This fee was so similar to another draft that I had authorized so this is how it passed me. At first, he tried to offer an addt'l discount and keep me as a customer for which I never authorized and I stayed calm but firm and demanded my refund. He then told me he would refund me 8 months but I insisted the total that was drafted needed to be refunded entirely and he somehow requested it from higher up and got it approved for the total refund. We are just the few that have caught this as I am sure there are many people out there. I watch my statements fairly closely but assumed this draft was another draft I did authorize for insurance when in fact it wasn't. I am glad I caught it and can get reimbursed. Please contact them directly and stay calm and persistent.

Got a notice from BofA that they had issued new cards due to a breach of my credit card account and that there were recurring charges on the cancelled card. I called TLG_GreatFun and spoke with an agent I could not understand. I complained that there was an original charge of $1.00 back in 10/15 and nothing until 3/17 until 2/18 this year. I recall attending a condo/timeshare I went to a couple of years ago and cancelled all transactions with them. Apparently, they had my CC# still in their system and started billing without consent. I told the person I wanted to cancel any and all transactions with their company and expected a full refund of all charges. He offered a four month credit and some coupons - told him it was unacceptable. He started talking again and I interrupted him and said that if he couldn't do it, give me his supervisor. He provided me with a cancellation number and said to please wait for his supervisor. After a seven minute wait, a woman comes on the line and asks what she can do. I told her exactly what I had told the previous person and demanded that their company was to refund any and all charges to my account because they were not authorized by myself or anyone in my family. She then apologized for the "misunderstanding" and said that she would process a refund immediately. I said that she should make sure no charges were to be placed against the account henceforth and that the cancellation should make that so. If I were to have any further problems I advised her that I would turn it over to the credit card company as potential fraud. She assured the refund to the account would happen immediately. Sometimes you just have to lean back on some folks and tell them they can't get away with it. Just thinking if only 10,000 people don't see the charge on their credit card statement, these bandits are raking in $169,900 a month - that's over $2,038,800 a year. I could retire on that.

I was remiss in not scrutinizing my monthly statements closer. I trusted folks. An amount as small as $16.99 a month doesn't look like much monthly but it adds up over time.

We'll see if the charge shows up on the next statement.

(Each withdrawl has a different set of numbers etc. I am not divulging all details, as I do not know who 'CHARGES' is)

I had charges from TLG GREATFN and TLG SHOPPERS. I did not authorize these charges. The 1st month was 1 dollar and after that they both charged 16.99. I let my credit company know so they can investigate. I do recall shopping on Amazon a few months back. This could have started back then.

This is an Amazon scam you use your credit card on Amazon they charge you $1.00 to see if you notice a payment then charge you 16.99 every month since! This is a fake company on your bill, this is what Chase told us we are no longer going to using the credit card as often on purchases and may even cancel it. Chase is investigating and could drop Amazon as a client if the behavior continues!

I was alerted by Etrade Fraud Prevention regarding a reoccurring charge of $16.99 that ETrade declines from TLG Great Fun. I was online looking at concert ticket prices through one of my website sources called LiveNation.com who is affiliated with this company called TLG Great Fun. Although I did not make a transaction through LiveNation this company TLG Great Fun decided they would keep trying to charge my ETrade credit card account for $16.99 every month without my knowledge or consent.

When I contacted them the representative just simply kept apologizing until I finally said: Please don't apologize anymore but rather answer the question I keep asking you which is: "Has your company been trying to charge my card every month for $16.99 to open a membership with your organization without my knowledge or consent? And has your company taken it upon themselves to obtain my stored credit card information with LiveNation without my knowledge and consent..yes or no? She again started with the apologies but did manage to say yes to charging my credit card but assured me there should be no charges as your card keeps declining the transaction. I said: Thanks to ETrade's catching this! She then followed up the conversation indicating that she would promptly cancel my membership with their company and I again told her I had no knowledge that I had ever signed up for a membership. I asked her to please send me a copy of when this took place and the authorization. She asked if I would like to speak to her manager. I said: No thank you but you can let your Manager know that I will be filing a formal complaint for obvious fraud. I would also like a cancellation confirmation number from you assuring me of no membership and no past, present or future fraudulent charges on my credit card, your name and agent ID please so that I may give this information to my fraud prevention department at ETrade.

How is this company still operating with all of the complaints I have read from multiple reporting sites? How is their not a class action lawsuit in effect with this company?

I ordered some items from Back in the Saddle and agreed to a one month trial for $1. I decided I did NOT want to continue and called to cancel. 1-800-526-4848. This was the number I was given to cancel. I spoke to "Oscar" and was given a cancellation #5152231958. Yet my credit card was continually charged each month. Fortunately my bank took care of the charges and had to issue a new card.

Got an offer thought spirit airlines, said 50$ rebate. So I signed up, trusting a spirit airlines email. Well the Indian lady that barely spoke English tried to talk me out of canceling. Politely, I said thanks for the offer but I would like to cancel. Recorded the convo. She gave me a cancelation number. Then got charged anyways.

Supposedly they send you something in the mail to earn coupons and discounts.
Called my bank and they refunded my money.
Spirit airlines shouldn't offer this bs to anybody.

Wow, you can cancel, but they can choose to refuse your cancellation. What a ripoff. I don't even remember signing up for this which makes me wonder if it was attached to another service either my wife or I may have used. Didn't even notice it until now, when I need to make my money stretch more than ever (isn't retirement wonderful?).

10. RIGHT TO CANCEL MEMBERSHIP –(a) You have the right to cancel this Agreement at any time. You may cancel this Agreement by calling 1-877-488-9480, writing to: Great Fun, P.O. Box 41248, Nashville, TN 37204, Attention: Membership Department, emailing service@greatfunsite.com or clicking the cancel link on the Customer Center page at www.greatfunsite.com. Cancel this Agreement during your trial, and you will owe nothing further; at any time thereafter, you will owe nothing further. You will remain liable for any other fees, purchases or charges to be paid pursuant to this Agreement. (b) If Trilegiant determines it is unable to bill the membership fee due hereunder to your designated billing source, Trilegiant shall have the right to terminate this Agreement in which event you will no longer have access to any of the Great Fun benefits. In addition to Trilegiant's termination rights set forth above, Trilegiant may elect in its sole discretion to keep this Agreement in effect, but suspend your access to all of the Great Fun benefits, until such time (if any) as Trilegiant is able to bill the membership fee due hereunder to your designated billing source.
